WESTAIR FILTRATION

The World’s Fastest Ducting System

Why spend days on rivets, screws, and welding when you can simply clip your system together? Nordfab® Quick-Fit (QF) has revolutionized industrial extraction by providing a modular, bolt-free ducting solution that reduces installation time by up to 45% compared to traditional flanged systems.

As Western Australia’s premier distributor, West Air Filtration maintains a massive local inventory of Nordfab components in our Midvale warehouse. Whether you are setting up a single workstation or a plant-wide extraction network, Nordfab QF offers an airtight, professional finish that is as easy to move and reconfigure as it is to install.

  • Tool-Free “Quick-Fit” Assembly: The patented clip-together design eliminates the need for rivets, screws, or welding, cutting installation time by up to 45%.

  • Infinite Reusability: Unlike permanent ducting, Nordfab can be easily unclipped, moved, and reconfigured as your workshop layout or machinery changes.

  • Leak-Tight Rolled Edge Design: Every component features a precision-rolled edge that, when clamped, creates a consistent, airtight seal for maximum suction efficiency.

  • Telescopic Adjustable Nipples: Our “sliding” duct sections allow for easy length adjustments on-site, removing the need for precise cutting or wasting materials.

  • Industrial Material Options: Available in heavy-duty Galvanised Steel or High-Grade Stainless Steel (304/316) to suit corrosive or food-grade environments.

The secret to Nordfab’s success lies in its patented rolled-edge design. Every component—from straight pipes and bends to branch pieces and blast gates—features a precision-rolled edge that fits into a heavy-duty QF Clamp. This creates a permanent, leak-tight seal in seconds, with no specialized tools required.

Because the system is entirely modular, it grows with your business. If you move a machine or expand your floor plan, you simply unclip the ducting, move it, and re-clamp. It’s a sustainable, long-term investment that eliminates waste and significantly lowers your total cost of ownership. From 80mm to 710mm diameters, we stock the full range of galvanised and stainless steel options to suit any WA industrial application

Frequently asked Questions

Comprehensive solutions designed to protect, grow, and manage your wealth at every stage of life. We combine strategic insight with personalized planning to help you make decisions.

The secret is the combination of the precision-rolled edge on the pipe and the high-density gasket inside the QF Clamp. When the clamp is snapped shut, it compresses the gasket around the rolled edges, creating a permanent, leak-tight seal that handles negative pressure far more efficiently than taped or riveted joints.

Absolutely. While it’s famous for being fast, Nordfab is a heavy-duty industrial product. It is constructed from high-quality galvanised steel (with stainless options) and is used globally in mining, cement, and timber plants. For highly abrasive materials, we also supply increased wall thicknesses to ensure long-term durability.

This is where Nordfab shines. Unlike traditional ducting that must be scrapped or cut apart, you simply unclip the QF clamps, move your ducting runs to the new location, and clip them back together. There is zero waste, and your “re-installation” cost is practically $0 in materials.

No specialized tools are required. Because there is no welding, riveting, or complex flashing involved, most maintenance teams or even workshop staff can install a Nordfab system themselves. This significantly reduces the “hidden” costs of hiring outside contractors for minor plant changes.

In traditional ducting, if a pipe is 50mm too long, you have to cut it. With Nordfab, the Adjustable Nipple acts like a telescope; it slides over a standard cut pipe to take up the slack. You simply slide it to the exact length you need and clamp it in place. It eliminates the “measure twice, cut once” stress.

Yes. We supply a full range of adapters that allow you to transition from existing machinery outlets or older spiral ducting into the Nordfab QF system. This allows you to upgrade your workshop in stages without having to replace your entire legacy infrastructure at once.
